In celebration of Black History Month, we are excited to announce we will be collaborating with Lululemon for the entire month of February. All of our yoga and afrobeat dance classes ywill take place in their fitness studio located at w116 in the Mall of America. Please see our schedule below.
February 1st: Toddler Tuesday Kids Afrobeat Class
Come move + groove with us! Wisna Perou will be teaching traditional Kids Afrobeats Dance. Stop by to learn some fun new dance moves and see what RuvaAfricWear's FREE Classes are all about! Classes at 11 + 11:30 a.m.
February 25th: Work Hard Burn Hard
Scott Burnhard is flying in from New York to engage the crowd in a high intensity cardio workout to afrobeat music. RuvaAfricWear is proud to be co-hosting this event with NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness). NAMI Minnesota is a non-profit organization that values spreading mental health information and resources towards the Black and African American community. NAMI Minnesota encourages movement as a tool to promote mental wellbeing. In addition to the workout there will be drawings, give-a-ways, gift cards and more! You don’t want to miss this opportunity to join with others in the community for a fun afternoon. WORK HARD BURN HARD is free to the public, but we would appreciate it if you would register through Eventbrite.
